DIY chemical free mosquito repelent

I must say that since becoming a Mother I become quite obsessed with what my family is exposed to. Not only food wise but also chemical products wise.
I'm not exactly where I would like to be yet, but I try to do whatever my busy life and schedule allows me. That includes trying to cook everything from scratch when possible and using old recipes for cleaning, like our grandmothers used to.

I came across these recipes for Mosquito repellents and I thought that would be a good thing to share here, since the main objective of this blog (along with sharing my personal life) is to feed the web wide world with useful information that other people could search and use (That's what I do all the time so I thought I would give back).
They are water and essential oils based.

3 ideas, see which one you have the ingredients at home or which one suits you / your family better.

Basil and Lemon Mosquito Repellent:

 - 2 cups of water
 - 5 drops of Lemon essential oil
- 10 drops of Basil essential oil
- 20 drops of citronella essential oil

Lemon and Eucalyptus Mosquito Repellent:
 - 2 cups of water
 - 5 drops of Lemon essential oil
- 10 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil
- 20 drops of citronella essential oil

Lavender and Geranium Mosquito Repellent:
 - 2 cups of water
 - 5 drops of Geranium essential oil
- 10 drops of Lavender essential oil
- 20 drops of citronella essential oil

For all combinations, just give it a good shake and you are good to go. Spray yourself, and around.
I would love to hear how did you go on that, or if you have some variations.
