Pantry ingredients Chocolate Brownie

This Recipe is for those days you are desperate, and I mean, desperate for something sweet, but don't have fancy ingredients in your pantry (or do, whatever :O )

This brownie doesn't ask for chocolate, just cocoa, although I'm sure it will be extra delicious if you add choc chips, or chocolate pieces, coconut, cranberries, nuts, whatever....

So you will need:
250g butter
430g caster sugar
4 eggs
225g plain flour
80g cocoa powder
1tsp vanilla

Method

  1. Pre heat oven 180ºC.   Line a 20x30 cm baking tray
  2. Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Remove from heat
  3. Stir in sugar, add eggs 1 at time and stir until thick and glossy
  4. Sift flour and cocoa powder over mix stir vanilla
  5. Bake 30/35 minutes.
Option: add whatever you want, choc chips, coconut, cranberries, nuts...

Enjoy!

Mmmmm, maybe I will make some now.
